After Miss Julie

By Patrick Marber
Directed by Leanne Campbell-Phillips
After Miss Julie is a story of forbidden love, class conflict and a changing world. Set on the eve of Labour's landslide victory in 1945 it shows the tug of war between two people from opposite sides of the class divide who have to decide whether they want to conform to the values of the new world or the old and whether in reaching that decision they will join together or tear each other apart.
